Cloisters Cafe
Our newly furbished cafe offers visitors a welcome and comfortable meeting area to enjoy a diverse menu from freshly prepared Danish pastries to our chef's daily selection of home-cooked lunches, using local ingredients and supporting local suppliers.
The cafe boasts a beautiful garden situated within the centre of the Cathedral grounds, enjoying the magnificent backdrop of the Cathedral.
It is a versatile space and can host evening Champagne and canape receptions for up to 200 guests, or social dinners for up tp 50 people. The cafe is open Monday to Sunday all year round.
Cloisters Shop
Whilst similarities exist with other cathedrals, Cloisters reputation as a stylish and exciting place to shop continues to grow. Our colourful and ever-changing gift lines ensure that there is always something new to intrigue and delight our customers.
The shop offers a range of religious works, some selected by the Dean of Chichester, books of historic interest relating to both the Cathedral and the local area, as well as literature by local authors. We are proud to support Fair Trade .and stock a variety of items including stationery and fashionable accessories.

George Bell House
The former archdeaconry, George Bell House, has recently been restored to its former glory, offering the perfect setting for seminars, corporate events, wedding parties and many other occasions.
The house offers two conference rooms, a private dining room and eight superbly styled bedrooms, all finished to the highest standard. It can be let for day meetings or, if preferred, offers overnight accommodation.
The garden of George Bell House can accommodate a marquee for up to 120 people. The house is an ideal choice for events, being centrally located in the heart of the city and set within the grounds of the Cathedral.
Alexandra Room
Overlooking the Royal Chantry garden, this elegant venue is named in honour of Princess Alexandra, who formally opened the new facilities in 2006.
This versatile room can be used in various ways, ranging from boardroom, seminar and conference meetings to private dining. The Alexandra Room can also make convenient use of the adjoining garden area, where there is ample space for a marquee to accommodate up to 60 guests.

Vicars' Hall
Following the refurbishment of this ancient Grade 1 listed building, the facilities provided by Vicars' Hall now combine a unique blend of old and new.
Its historic ambiance, medieval architecture and idyllio location, make this venue an inspired choice for clients seeking to make a dramatic impact. The area is split over three levels adding to its character and can be used for conferences, lectures and meetings, accommodating up to 120 people.
Vicars' Hall lends itself equally well to lunches and dinners and makes a stunning location for wedding receptions, with the Cathedral and lawns providing a beautiful backdrop for photographs.
