Vintage Afternoon Tea
@ Bishop's Palace
|Sun 17th Jul 2016 1:00pm
A unique opportunity to enjoy vintage afternoon tea, accompanied by live jazz music, in the Bishop of Chichester’s private garden. We will be serving a delicious range of finger sandwiches and a mouth-watering selection of cakes and pastries.
There will also be a rare opportunity to visit the private chapel in the Bishops’ Palace, normally closed to the public, along with the Sherborne Room, which is famous for its heraldic ceiling painted by Lambert Barnard.
Afternoon tea served 1pm-4pm. Chapel & Sherborne Room open 1.30pm-3pm with guides on hand to answer questions about this historic space.
